We created our new logo starting from a secular olive branch that we had put aside years ago, after having found him on the ground, knocked down by the strong wind. We stopped to look at it and in those concentric rings that show the years of the plant we saw the history of the last five generations of our family. We grew up with that olive tree. We cut a section of the branch, sanded and photographed it. Then we shared our idea with Nello Greco, who came to Pezze Galere from Pisciotta, in the province of Salerno, to see that broken branch. And when he saw it, he immediately understood how to transform it into a recognizable graphic sign. This is how we like to tell the story of Pezze Galere. What we have been, what we are and what we hope to be in the future. Each tree has its own story, which is often intertwined with that of some person. The story of our family is all here: among the wrinkles of these olive trunks.
